The Sannuo 10.1″ Kids Tablet and the Dragon Touch X10 Kids are both 10.1″ tablets designed for children, so how do they compare to each other? Both tablets have a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels and both come with a protective case in different colours that has an integral stand.
Both tablets are Android tablets with the Sannuo running 9.0 Pie out of the box and the X10 running the older 7.0 Nougat. Both tablets have access to Google Play and the content available from there.
Each tablet comes with 16 gigabytes (GB) of internal memory and both also come with memory card slots. The Sannuo tablet will take memory cards up to 128 GB in size whilst the X10 will only take cards up to 64 GB. Both tablets come with WiFi, Bluetooth and a micro-USB port; the X10 also has a DC charging port and an HDMI port.
Both tablets have front and rear facing cameras. The front cameras for both tablets have the same resolution, 2.0 megapixels (MP), but the Sannuo’s rear facing camera is substantially better, with 5.0 MP resolution compared to the 2.0 MP resolution of the X10’s camera.
Both tablets use third party parental controls. The controls on the Sannuo come from iWawa whilst those on the X10 come from Kidoz. Both parental controls allow parents to regulate what a child can use, when they can use the tablet and where they can go on the internet. The controls on the X10 are superior to those on the Sannuo, for it comes with the premium version installed, which has education and entertaining content included, such as videos and online games. The X10’s battery life is perhaps slightly better than that of the Sannuo, at 5 hours compared to 4-5 hours.
The tablets are the same size but the Sannuo tablet has better memory card capacity and a better rear-facing camera. The X10 has an HDMI port and a DC charging port. In other respects, the tablets are very similar. The Sannuo 10.1″ Kids Tablet is overall similar to the Dragon Touch X10 Kids in many ways, though the parental controls of the X10 are more fully-featured.
