Parents want to keep their children safe online, as well as ensure they don’t spend too much time on a tablet, which is where parental controls come in.
The Sannuo 10.1″ Kids Tablet comes with third party parental controls from iWawa. With iWawa, parents can create accounts for different children from the Parental Control interface. They can also install apps from Google Play and add them to a specific children’s account. Similarly, parents can add websites they consider safe and allow them to be accessed by children. Parents may also add photos, video and music in the same way.
The Parental Controls also allow time limits to be set. There are several different options. A total limit for a day can be set and then start and end times during which the tablet can be used. Times during the day can also be added, as well as the length of time during which the tablet is available and the amount of time it has to be inactive between uses.
These parental controls are not, in and of themselves, educational in nature. Instead, they are certified as providing a safe environment for education. There are apps available in the Kids Store and children can set their own theme.
