The Tagital T10K and the Tagital T7K are both children’s tablets from Tagital, so how do they compare? The first is the size; the T10K is a 10.1″ tablet whilst the T7K is a more common 7″. The screen of the T10K has a higher resolution; 1280×800 pixels compared to 1024×600 pixels on the T7K. Both tablets come with a protective case that comes in different colours, but the T10K’s case comes with an integral stand.
Both tablets are Android tablets. The T10K runs 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box whilst the T7K runs the substantially older 4.4.2 KitKat. Both tablets have access to the Google Play store.
The T10K comes with 16 gigabytes (GB) of internal memory, double the 8 GB of the T7K. Both tablets have memory card slots that will take cards up to 32 GB in size. Each tablet has a quad core processor and WiFi, as well as a micro USB port; the T10K also comes with a DC charging socket and Bluetooth,
Both tablets come with front and rear facing cameras. The resolution of the cameras on the T10K are uncertain, but they are believed to be the same as the resolution of the T7K’s cameras; a rear-facing camera with a resolution of 2.0 megapixels (MP) and a front facing one with a resolution of 0.3 MP.
Both tablets come with third party parental controls. Those on the T10K come from iWawa; those on the T7K come from Zoodles. Zoodles comes with some built-in educational content, where iWawa does not.
The T10K is generally superior technically to the T7K. It has more memory and a more recent version of Android, as well as higher screen resolution, as is common in larger tablets, but it is also a larger tablet; larger tablets may not be as easy to hold for smaller children. In general, the two tablets have quite a few similarities, but the Tagital T10K can be considered to be a more modern, larger tablet compared to the Tagital T7K.
