The amount of internal memory a tablet has is becoming increasingly important. What was enough for a children’s tablet a few years ago is now insufficient. With tablet cameras increasing in resolution so is the amount of memory that photos and videos taken with them. The operating system needs at least some of the tablet’s memory to function on, and so do apps.
The Tagital T10K comes with 16 gigabytes of internal memory, currently about standard for a children’s tablet although some do have more and a few still have less. A memory card slot means that some content, especially downloaded and user-created, does not need storing internally.
