Can Google Play Be Used on the Kindle Fire HD6 Kids Edition?

Google’s Play Store is probably the largest Android appstore around, with many different apps available. As the Kindle Fire HD 6 Kids Edition is an Amazon product, it isn’t possible to simply download Google Play onto it.

Instead, there is Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, which comes with access to many games, books, apps, television programmes and films that have all been hand curated to choose ones suitable for children. More content can also be added, using a parental profile, from Amazon’s Appstore and the Amazon site.
