Ports are, along with WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC, one of the ways that tablets interact with everything else, so what ports does the nabi 2S have?
Well, for one, it’s actually got less ports than the previous model, the nabi 2, has. The Mini HDMI and Micro USB ports that were on the nabi 2 have been removed and replaced with the nabi Connector, which is intended to fulfil the purposes of the two replaced ports. This is a bit unfortunate, moving towards a custom port when many companies are moving towards universal and standardised ports. The nabi 2S does come with a cable that converts the nabi Connector to a USB port. The nabi 2S also lacks the 5V DC power jack of the previous model.
There is also a 3.5mm standard headphone jack, so sound can be heard without it having to be shared with everyone, and a micro SD card slot, which can be sued to expand the available memory.
There are a number of other controls and the like built into the tablet. This are an integral microphone, a camera, a power button, and volume buttons.
