The nabi Jr. comes with extensive time controls, so what are these?

The time controls are part of the parental controls of the tablet. The controls provide full usage reports for parents, allowing them to see how much time their child is spending on the tablet, as well as how much time they are spending on individual activities and apps.

The time controls can be set for app groups and individual apps, not just for the tablet as a whole. Parents can also set mandatory exercise times when animated characters encourage a child to exercise. Extra time for apps and games can be given as a reward for children spending time using educational apps.

When a child has reached their allotted time limit, the tablet will not simply turn off. Instead, animated characters will let the child know when it is time for exercise, homework, play or sleep.
