How is the Amazon Appstore Installed on the Kurio 7S?

As well as the Kurio Store, it is also possible to install other Android stores onto the Kurio 7S. The Kurio Store has a limited number of available apps, so you may want the greater numbers available in the general stores around. You need to be logged into the Parental Account on the tablet, and then launch the Parental Area.

Select the “Store” section from the main menu, which will show currently available stores that are on the 7S, as well as an option to “Download Other Android App Stores”.

One of the current three alternative stores is the Amazon Appstore, so select that store, and you will be taken to the download page.

On the download page, select “Download” and the store will download. Once complete, you will see an installation popup detailing the permissions that the Amazon Appstore requires. If it is present, select “Next” to read all the permissions, then “Install” once the permissions have been read.

Once the store is installed, you then have the option to allow access to it for other users, by selecting their profiles and authorising their access to them.
