With the sheer amount of games, apps, books and videos that can be downloaded onto a tablet from the Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore, or from Netflix and Hulu, to name just a few places, the amount of storage that a tablet has to save these onto is important. This doesn’t even consider any room that will be taken up by your child’s own creations, including photographs taken using the camera.
The Orbo Jr comes with 4GB of internal storage, as well as 512MB of RAM, but the internal storage can be expanded using the external SD (Secure Digital) slot.
The tablet will take memory cards up to 32GB in size, eight times the size of the internal memory, which will greatly expand the amount of games and videos that can be stored on the device. In addition, the card can then be read in other devices and, if needed, multiple cards can be purchased, allowing a library of different cards with different media stored on them to be built up.
