Can Headphones Be Used with the Orbo Jr?

It’s all very well having a tablet that plays music, videos and games, but a parent doesn’t necessarily want to hear them too. Headphones will allow your child to enjoy their games whilst you enjoy peace and quiet, so the ability to plug in headphones is very useful. This tablet plays sounds in stereo, but this might not be appreciated if you are trying to listen or watch something else.

The Orbo Jr comes with a standard 3.5mm Audio Jack, allowing external headphones, or even speakers, to be plugged in. This jack will allow the use of most standard headphones common to electrical devices, even some Beats by Dr Dre headphones, to be plugged in, meaning that your child can enjoy their tablet yet leaving you in peace. Plugging in external speakers won’t have the same effect, but this can enhance your child’s enjoyment of their music, games and programmes – preferably in privacy so that everyone else doesn’t have to enjoy them too.
