The Google Play store is the largest store for Android apps and content around, and the largest app store for any apps. With the LeapFrog Epic being an Android tablet, or at least based on a version of 4.4 KitKat, unlike the majority of LeapFrog’s tablets, it might be thought that Google Play could be installed on it.
This is not, however, the case – the Epic will not allow Google Play to be installed. Users can, though, install the Amazon Appstore on the tablet (it does not come installed as standard), which is possibly the second biggest Android app store around and which will give access to a much larger range of apps and games that can be downloaded from the LeapFrog App Centre, and less expensive content at that.
