The amount of memory that a tablet has available determines the limits that it has. With the increase in resolution of typical tablet cameras, the amount of space photos and videos take up has also increased, making memory even more important. Memory is also used to store downloaded content and apps; a decent amount of memory is also needed if the tablet is being used outside of an area with WiFi, as only what is actually on the device can be used.
The Dragon Touch Y88X comes with 8 gigabytes (GB) of memory built-in, which is middle of the range and pretty standard for the average tablet. This will store a fair amount of content and, should more space be needed, the tablet also has a micro SD card slot which can be used to expand the available storage.
