Does the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition Come With the Amazon Appstore?

With the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition running on Amazon’s own version of Google’s Android operating system, it isn’t a pure Android tablet. It is therefore not easy to install Google Play on the tablet.

Instead, the HD 10 comes with the Amazon Appstore. This is Amazon’s own appstore, and is probably second behind Google’s in size. A wide variety of content can be installed on the HD 10 through the parental controls and enabled for children.

In addition, there is also the included content that comes from the included subscription to Amazon FreeTime Unlimited.
