WiFi is one of the most important features any children’s tablet can have and, along with ports, a primary communication method. WiFi allows it to connect to the internet through available routers and hotspots, and therefore download games, apps and updates, as well as communicate online through messaging services and watch anything on online streaming services. Without WiFi, a tablet cannot accomplish as much.
The Contixo Kids Q102 comes with WiFi, specified as Wireless N (802.11b/g/n). Whilst WiFi is needed to download and stream content, any content that is on the tablet can still be used without WiFi being available, just as long as it is the type of content that doesn’t need an internet connection to work, the latter being such as streaming services and messaging.
The tablet also comes with NFC and Bluetooth.
