A parent buying an Orbo Jr for their child who is planning to travel outside of the United States, perhaps for a holiday or to see family in another country, will want to know that the tablet will still work abroad.
The Orbo Jr will work outside the United States, but you need to take care with the voltage, and using it in other countries may require the use of a suitable converter.
The US works on 110V, whilst other countries work on 220V, or more, so simply plugging the existing adapter into the power supply in a foreign country will probably break the tablet. Make sure you check what your destination country’s voltage is, and that you get an appropriate adapter for converting that voltage to one that the Orbo Jr can run off, if necessary.
When travelling abroad, buying extra protection for the tablet such as a carrying case and a screen protector is definitely recommended. The tablet is likely to be knocked around more than would normally be the case when simply using it at home.
