Does the Orbo Jr Have Bluetooth?

With Bluetooth being used by many devices to connect with each other locally, it can be a useful facility to have to transmit files and pictures between two devices of whatever type, although it is substantially slower than a direct, wired, connection.

The Orbo Jr does not have Bluetooth functionality built-in, so it will be unable to connect to any other Bluetooth devices in that manner. This means that you won’t be able transfer files and pictures between the Orbo Jr and another device as is using Bluetooth.

The tablet does have a micro-USB port, and there are micro-USB Bluetooth adapters available to purchase, as well as Bluetooth apps that are available in both the Amazon Appstore and the PlayStore, so it may be possible to extend the capabilities of the device by purchasing an external adapter.

An external Bluetooth adapter will be more fragile, in that it can be knocked out or hit on things, than one that comes built-in, so this may not be suitable for children.
