What Will Children Be Able to Access Online Using the LeapPad Ultra?

LeapPad UltraBeing able to view sites on the internet is both useful and a concern for parents, who will want to ensure that their child only views suitable web sites.

The LeapPad Ultra can access the internet, using the built-in WiFi, but this access is substantially screened and limited. Your child will not have unrestricted access to every site on the world wide web.

Instead, they will only be able to access age-appropriate content – with age being defined in their profile on the Ultra – all of which has been pre-screened by LeapFrog. Even the search engine, LeapSearch powered by Zui, is a kid-friendly search engine. On top of this, there are parental controls which allow a parent to customise what their child sees out of the pre-screened sites.

Peer to Peer play with friends who also have an Ultra is also possible.

You have no worries when using the LeapPad Ultra that your child will be able to see content on the internet that you don’t approve of.
