The LeapPad Ultra does have WiFi built-in which allows your child to connect to the internet with it, but what web sites can they actually visit with it? Is there any chance of them finding inappropriate content?
Although the Ultra does connect to the internet, the sites that can be accessed using LeapFrog’s own LeapSearch search engine is limited. Only sites that have been pre-screened by LeapFrog will show up in the search, and this is over a thousand hand-picked sites in total, all of which have been approved by the LeapFrog team, so there is no chance of your children finding inappropriate content. The search facility can even be turned off using the parental controls.
