The Fire HD 10 Kids Edition comes with a year’s subscription to Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, so just what is this? Amazon FreeTime Unlimited is a subscription service that needs renewing every year. Up to four children’s profiles can be created with one subscription to FreeTime Unlimited.

The subscription includes access to over 20,000 books, Audible books, television shows, movies, apps and games, suitable for children aged 3-12 years. All the material on FreeTime Unlimited is hand-curated and age appropriate. As well as the included content, parents can also, through the parental controls, add access to more games, apps and streaming services.

In FreeTime, children do not have access to such as social media or Alexa, and in-app purchases require parental approval. Parents can exit FreeTime using a passcode.
