The nabi 2S comes with the Spinlets+ Music app and the Spinlets+ TV app, so what are these two apps? Well, they provide music and television, but they aren’t free.
Spinlets+ music is a music store aimed at children. There are over 9,000 children’s albums and 19 million tracks available on Spinlets+ Music. To download music from Spinlets+ Music, you first need to create a 7digital account. Once an account has been created, you can browse through the available music, and purchase and download it if wanted. Creating an account requires a credit card; in nabi Mode, the Mommy/Daddy Mode password will need entering every time a song is purchased, so children won’t be able to buy large amounts of music on their own. In Mommy/Daddy Mode itself, the password only needs entering every ten minutes when purchasing additional music. Once downloaded, the music can be transferred to the SD card or to a computer.
Spinlets+ TV has some similarities to Spinlets+ Music. Again, the content is child-friendly, but this time it’s television shows. There are over 700 hours of streaming television to watch on Spinlets+ TV. Spinlets+ TV is a monthly paid service, and it comes with a 30 day free trial.
