The iRulu 7″ Kids Tablet and the Tagital T10K are both children’s tablets, so how do they compare? The first difference is the size. The iRulu tablet is a 7″ tablet whilst the Tagital is a larger, 10″ tablet. The iRulu’s screen resolution is 1024×600 pixels whilst the T10K’s resolution is higher at 1280×800 pixels. Both tablets come with protective cases intended to reduce the chance of damage if the tablet is dropped. Both cases come in different colours but that of the T10K has an integral stand.
Both tablets are Android tablets with the Kids Tablet running 7.1 Nougat out of the box and the T10K running the older 6.0 Marshmallow. Both tablets have access to Google Play.
Both tablets come with 16 gigabytes (GB) of internal memory and have memory card slots capable of taking memory cards up to 32 GB in size. Each tablet comes with WiFi and Bluetooth and has a micro USB port. The T10K also comes with a DC charging port.
Both tablets come with front and rear facing cameras. The front facing camera has a 0.3 megapixel (MP) resolution and the rear facing one a 2.0 MP resolution on both tablets. The battery life of the T10K is listed as being about 5 hours; that of the Kids Tablet 3-5 hours; both are dependent on usage naturally.
Each tablet comes with third party parental controls, in both cases through iWawa. iWawa allows parents to control tablet usage and what their children can access. Neither tablet comes with educational content built-in; the parental controls are certified as providing a safe environment in which to learn, but do not include material.
The main difference between the two tablets is the size, as the T10K is larger at 10″. This may be harder for smaller hands to hold, although the case’s integral stand does help here. The T10K has better screen resolution, which is typical in larger tablets. Most of the other technical specs are similar. The cameras on both tablets are not that impressive by modern standards and the internal memory and memory card slot are now pretty typical. The battery life of the Kids Tablet is technically poorer. The Kids Tablet does have a more recent version of the Android OS. The iRulu 7″ Kids Tablet is a smaller, possibly slightly inferior tablet to the Tagital T10K.
