The amount of internal memory that a tablet has limits the amount of material that can be stored on it. The tablet’s operating system needs some of the internal memory to run on, and apps will take up more. User-created content, especially as camera resolutions improve, also increases in size.
The LeapPad Ultimate comes with 8 gigabytes of internal memory, which is on the low end for modern children’s tablets. It also lacks a memory card slot.
