Does the LeapPad Ultimate Have Any Educational Uses?

Education is often stated to be a primary reason for purchasing a child a tablet, even if there are other secondary uses, such as playing games.

Like all LeapFrog tablets, the LeapPad Ultimate is specifically designed to be an educational tablet. Education is its primary use.

The tablet has access to over 1,000 games, videos and ebooks from the LeapFrog Learning Library. It also has a cartridge slot which provides access to more educational content, this time in cartridge form. The tablet is compatible with cartridges from other LeapFrog devices.

Games are selected by the tablet, using Just for Me™ learning technology, which personalises them to a child’s learning level and age. Some of the included items in the content supplied with the Ultimate has educational uses.

The LeapPad Ultimate does not, however, have access to the LeapFrog Academy.
