Can the Contixo Kids LA703 use Streaming Video Sites?

Streaming video sites – whether they be mostly free content, such as YouTube, or subscription or paid sites such as Netflix, Hulu, LoveFilm or Amazon – are becoming more an more popular as a way to watch content and our favourite television programmes. Watching such content does, of course, need the ability to connect to the internet through WiFi, or other means. As these services increase in popularity, the ability to use them becomes more important.

Can the Contixo Kids LA703 be used with these? The short answer is yes, it can. The tablet is based on a standard Android operating system and so Android apps that may be required to watch such content can be installed, through app stores such as Google Play. Those that do not need, or can be watched without, apps can also be used in the tablet’s browser. Not everything may be available for children, due to how the parental controls are set, but this is more of a positive than a negative, as there is certainly some content around that you would not want your children to see.
