Games are a big part of a child’s life these days. For younger children, there are increasing numbers of educational games available too, so time spent playing games can also help teach your child, perhaps without them even realising it, making a tablet a useful educational tool.
Once the Orbo Jr is purchased, there are many free games available that can be loaded onto it. There are probably thousands, if not tens of thousands, of different games that can all be downloaded without spending a penny on them. These can be obtained from Google’s Play Store, which comes pre-installed on the tablet, or, alternatively, from the Amazon Appstore, after the Appstore app is installed.
The tablet will need to be online to download and install the games, which can be done using WiFi, but, once installed, many will be functional and can be played when offline. Some parental control is recommended with games, even free ones, to ensure that your child isn’t able to easily make in-game purchases using real money and to ensure the games are age-appropriate.
