The Orbo Jr‘s suggested minimum age is from 3 upwards. This is mostly for completely unsupervised use of the tablet, as there are new apps and games released all the time aimed at younger and younger children. Below 3 years old, it would probably best to totally supervise the child’s use of the tablet.
There is no real theoretical upper age limit for the Orbo Jr, as it is a proper tablet, similar to the Chromo. The main difference between the Orbo Jr and other tablets is the colourful silicone gel case. Although older children can still use the tablet, and it will do what they need, they may object to a “childish” looking tablet as opposed to a more fashionable, or expensive, one.
With this in mind, it is probably best to inquire whether your child likes the look of the tablet first, rather than choosing one that they may consider “babyish” simply from its appearance.
