WiFi is an essential feature for any tablet, and one of the primary wireless methods of communications, the other being Bluetooth. A wired way is through cables connected to the tablet’s ports. WiFi allows it to connect to the internet and is required for anything that needs internet access, such as videochatting and watching streaming content.
The Tagital T10K naturally comes with WiFi. Although WiFi is needed for internet-related activities, it isn’t required if the tablet is going to be used for purely offline activities, such as downloaded content including games, videos and ebooks. In such cases, if the tablet is going to be away from a source of power, it can make sense to turn off WiFi in order to increase the tablet’s battery life.
