If you have several children of different ages in your household, you may want them all to use the same tablet. When the LeapPad Ultra is set up, a profile is created for a child, containing things such as their age, so that the various apps can adapt to the level that they are at.
So, can you set up multiple profiles on the Ultra? The answer is yes, the tablet does support multiple profiles, so that you only need one for several children. Profiles can also be deleted if desired, for whatever reason. These facilities are part of the parental control settings.
As long as all your children are willing to share the same device and don’t want to use it at the same time – a couple of things that are by no means guaranteed – one LeapPad Ultra can serve an entire household. The different age settings from the profiles means that children will have different experiences on the device.
