There are two main types of Kids Edition tablet available, the Kindle Fire HD 6 and the Kindle Fire HD 7, so what’s the difference between the two tablets?
Well, there are only two main differences – screen size and cost, the latter following on from the first.
The HD 6 Kids Edition has a 6″ high definition touchscreen whilst the HD 7 has a 7″ one. The resolution of both tablet’s screens is identical – 1280×800 pixels – so the HD 6 has slightly more pixels per inch than the HD 7 – 252 as opposed to 216.
The bigger screen may make some things slightly easier to watch or do, but it also costs slightly more.
