Is the iRulu BabyPad Y1 an Android Tablet?

Android is one of the most popular platforms available on which to run a tablet. If a tablet runs on Android, or one of the operating system’s variants, this can give it access to the wide range of Android compatible app content that is available.

The iRulu BabyPad Y1 currently runs on Android 4.2.2. Due to the parental controls, when the Y1 is running in Children Mode, it does not have access to the full range of apps available in such as the Google Play Store. However, when it is run in the full mode using the password, it will work as a normal Android tablet and can access Google Play.
