A tablet’s internal memory is very important, as part or all of every app, plus the operating system, has to be stored directly on the tablet, so the more space there is the more apps and games can be stored on it.
One way of taking the strain off a tablet’s internal memory, when it comes to user created content such as photos and videos taken with the camera and downloaded content such as ebooks and videos, is with an external memory card.
Such downloaded and created content can be stored on an external memory card without any problems, whilst the same cannot be said of apps and the OS. Having a memory card therefore frees up more internal memory for the things that really need it.
The nabi Jr. does come with an external memory card slot, which can take micro SD cards up to 32 gigabytes in size.
