If you are interested in using the LeapPad Ultra on the internet, or if you are concerned over what websites your child may be able to access on it, you will want to know if the Ultra comes with WiFi.
The tablet does come with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi built-in. This is used to download apps from the LeapFrog App Center, several of which come with the purchase, but are not on the tablet. It can also be used to play peer to peer games with other Ultra users. Finally, there is a selection of approved websites that have been hand picked by the LeapFrog team that can be accessed on the internet using LeapFrog’s LeapSearch facility.
The internet can be accessed using the LeapPad Ultra, but the strong parental controls ensure that your child is protected online.
