There are two primary sources of storage on tablets, the internal memory and external memory cards, should the tablet have a memory card slot. Many apps, and the operating system, have to be stored on the internal memory, and cannot be stored on external cards, which makes memory cards best suited for storing such as pictures and videos taken with the tablet’s cameras. As the resolution of cameras increases, so does their file size, and having additional storage for their files becomes increasingly important.
The Dragon Touch K8 Kids comes with 16 gigabytes (GB) of internal memory but it does also come with a memory card slot as well. This will take memory cards up to 32 GB in size, meaning that there can be quite a lot of extra space to store items such as photos. Plus, memory cards can also be swapped if necessary, and a new, empty card can be used to replace an existing full one.
