Cameras are important in tablets as they can be used for such as video chatting with distant friends and family, taking photos and videos of things children are interested in and, in some cases, interacting with certain games, especially those that use augmented reality.
The Dragon Touch K8 Kids does come with two cameras, one front facing and one rear. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 2.0 megapixels (MP) whilst the rear facing one has a resolution of 5.0 MP. The front-facing camera is now at a fairly typical level of resolution for such on children’s tablets. The rear facing camera is on the high end of the resolution scale for kids tablets; there are some with similar resolutions but there are still many with lower resolutions. The resolution of the rear camera makes such as a memory card slot important, as the higher the resolution of an image, the greater the amount of space they take up.
