Cameras are how children can take their own photographs and videos, as well as communicate using video messaging services. Having a camera in a tablet is therefore quite important these days, as it allows your child to take their own images and, depending on the software, alter and share them. Better cameras also make internal and external memory more important.
The Contixo Kids Q102 comes with two integral cameras. There is a rear facing 2.0 megapixel (MP) camera and a 0.3 MP front facing one. The rear facing camera is suitable for taking pictures and videos, and is at a fairly standard resolution. The front facing camera is a much lower resolution, but again fairly standard – some children’s tablets have higher resolution front facing cameras, whilst others lack one altogether – and is suited for video messaging, rather than photography.
