Can Apps Purchased for the LeapPad Ultra Be Shared with Other Devices?

Apps

AppsAfter you have purchased apps for the LeapPad Ultra, you may want to share them on other devices you own. The apps can be shared, but with certain restrictions.

First, the device must be a LeapFrog device. Many of the apps are cross-compatible with the entire LeapPad range and the Leapster GS and Leapster Explorer. There are some apps that are exclusive to the LeapPad Ultra that will not work on the other devices, though.

Second, all the devices need to be on the same parental account. You can have the same app on up to three different devices, as long as they are on the same account. Therefore, the average family will be able to use a purchased app on the LeapFrog devices of up to three of their children, assuming that they are compatible. This should be adequate for most people.

You cannot share the apps on more than three devices, or with devices on other accounts, or on Android or iOS devices, although LaepFrog do have apps available for the latter.
